You are right. This is not the place designated for this type of discussion, therefore, I'm not going to say anything else about this matter except this: Weapons (all kinds) and how they are used shape the world. If the US didn't have nuclear weapons technology, and everyone else did, how long would it be before we were invaded? Also, as for kids having guns.....it is already against the law in this country, but that isn't stopping them from getting them is it? Only the parents can do that by teaching them about firearms and safety and locking them (the guns) up in a secure manner when they are not being used.
